Have you ever wondered how far all this marketing malarky can go? How weird and mind-boggling? Yeah we have too. We thought the Pet Rock was pretty much the state of the art actually, until we happened across this little beauty recently.

The Reinast Luxury Toothbrush is a $4400 titanium toothbrush which defies logic and common sense. The blurb goes on about things like ‘optimal combination of technology and design‘, and ‘elegant design that transcends time…’ but come on, it’s a toothbrush. Right? No doubt there’s some Russian billionaire who’s tenderly caressing his solid premium titanium toothy with pride and delight, but the rest of us out here are going…really?

So we think we have a winner in the most stupid product of the century so far. A toothbrush which starts at €3200 and goes upwards, comes in one of four colors including Champagne and Rose, and which also comes with a free subscription of 5 brush heads delivered every six months. Whoopee!
