In what is probably the most logical extension of our current obsession with extreme activities and narcissistic photography, someone clever somewhere has come up with the perfect way to combine the two in one delicious product.
The Krash Videohead X1 is a standard type crash helmet which incorporates a video camera for taking those so essential shots of you abseiling down the side of an ice-cream truck. The camera is of course shock and water proof and features two buttons on the side of the helmet for start stop purposes.
The camera has a 60 degree lens, can record an average of 30 minutes of video per charge at 30fps, and the helmet comes with a USB cable to attach to your computer. Try telling your mother you’re just downloading stuff from your helmet and see how that goes for you. The USB is also the charge port. Astonishing. Priced at £60 and available in either white or …wait for it….black.
