We seem to be kind of obsessed with videoing everything at the moment, but so far one of the places that has resisted attack is the water. But now that’s about to change with the launch of these high definition video goggles.
The Video Swim Goggles feature a 120 and 133 degree wide angle modes, with 1080p at 30fps, so that’s a pretty meaty video resolution on offer right there. The still image quality is not quite as exciting at only 3 megapixel, but we’re impressed by the fact that the rechargeable battery gives up to 1.5 hours of recording time per charge.
Let’s face it, if you swim like most of us, you’ll be getting lots of shots of splashing mayhem, but for those who enjoy puttering around at the beach or whatever, this seems like a decent option. The camera supports up to 32 GB on SDHC cards and it’s waterproof to 5 meters down. Priced at $119.99.
