Selfie Studio For iOS and Android – the ultimate self portrait kit for the truly obsessed

selfiestudio3

According to this recent research project analyzing 6.3 million social media messages, London and New York are the world’s most popular selfie photo locations. London just edges out the Big Apple, with people queuing up to picture themselves in front of Big Ben, the London Eye and Buck House (yeah the palace), which all seems like jolly good fun.

What’s not quite so logical is the obsession with photographing yourself in front of anything, why not just shoot the landmark itself? Oh wait, you’ve got to prove you’re actually there, right? Got it. So for all you roving snappers, here’s the ultimate self portrait kit. Selfie Studio comes with a ‘durable‘ 37 inch metal and rubber monopod to hold your smartphone, a keychain Bluetooth camera shutter trigger, and a standard tripod or smartphone mount, so you can choose which camera to use.

The remote shutter button works with both iOS and Android phones and you don’t need any special apps installed, and if you can find a handy wall you’ll be able to use it to capture your selfie from up to 30 feet away using Bluetooth wireless. For that truly memorable shot. Your price $25.95.
