Typing Club – want to learn how to type for free?

typingclub

Everyone should be able to type, even if it’s only hunt and peck style. If you can’t, you’re putting yourself at a distinct disadvantage against those who have gained enough skills to get stuff done in a reasonable length of time. Because, let’s face it, the computer keyboard still rules.

Now there’s no excuse, because a new online typing course has started up called Typing Club, which promises to provide enough of a incentive for anyone to learn the skill. The good news is it looks like it’s perfect for absolute beginners as well as those who need to brush up on their skills.

There is a huge secret to learning to type, which if you master it will make it happen so much quicker. It’s called ‘practice’. That’s right, the more and longer you practice typing (with the correct technique of course), the quicker you’ll learn how to do it without thinking about it. Because muscle memory steps in, and suddenly your fingers are flying. So make it a resolution for the summer, and do yourself a favor. After all it’s costing nothing.
