Seriously, do you remember the days when you had to pay real money to get yourself a laptop computer? Just nineteen years ago a DELL laptop would cost you $4400, and you’d think yourself lucky, in fact you’d be happy to have grabbed a bargain. Of course ordinary people didn’t, it was mostly corporate accounts.
Now look. This Y10D 10 Inch Dual Core Android Laptop Computer is priced at just $94 all in. O.K. so we’re not going to vouchsafe for the overall quality of the thing, but the specs look pretty reasonable, especially compared to a 1995 DELL laptop.
Apparently it comes with a 1.5GHz dual core processor, and 4GB of internal storage with SD card slot support for adding extra storage as needed. It also features a 10.1 inch 1024×600 touchscreen, a 0.3 megapixel front camera, HDMI out port, WiFi, Ethernet, USB and headphone jack ports. It runs Android 4.2.1 and sports a 4000 mAh battery giving 3 hours of run time.
And it comes in any of three sparkling $94 style colors. We don’t really know what else to add, except to say that times have clearly changed.
Until, you know, Google kills the expandable memory with KitKrap. :-(
