Now that summer’s here, it’s time to think about some outdoor activities, like hunt the garden hose, and milk the mosquito. But for those more adventurous souls, there’s an alternative which combines exercise with a good dose of old fashioned fun.

The Human Bowling Ball recreates a bowling alley in your back yard, but with a twist. Instead of you throwing the bowling ball down the lane, you run yourself down it, and try to knock down the giant foam pins at the end. You can see how the exercise bit comes in, right?

The whole thing is kept inflated with a stationary air blower, and there’s an additional blower which makes sure the ‘ball’ is also kept nice and round for rolling. The lane is 3 foot high and the set is made of rip resistant vinyl which is treated against mold and fading. The price for this silliness is a scintillating $5,500.
