Kymera Magic Wand Remote Control – live out your magic fantasy one couch spell at a time

Kymera Wand in Box

I love Harry Potter. I have no shame. But it doesn’t matter how much I wave a stick or how confidently I say “Leviosa” nothing happens. With the Kymera Magic Wand Remote Control, I can at least pretend to be a Hogwarts alumni as I control my TV.

The remote control is a universal remote in the shape and style of a magic wand, exactly the kind you would pick up in Diagon Alley to be precise, and is compatible with most appliances that use remotes such as TVs and DVD players.

There aren’t any buttons on the device which is the really cool thing. Instead you operate the wand the same way Team Potter uses theirs – with a flick of your wrist. You don’t have to recite any magical words but I’m guessing it wouldn’t hurt for your living room credibility. Or maybe not.

Sure, you can’t turn your boss into a toad or summon your spirit animal to protect you but you can mute your television, change the channel, or start you DVD player with a simple gesture. Up to 13 gestures can be programed into the wand. Bring a little magic into your life for £49.99.
