It must be pretty frustrating if you’re a half decent typist and you find yourself having to hunt and peck on a sub-standard touchscreen keyboard if you’re using a new smartphone. Well clearly others have had the same thought which has spawned a bunch of add-on keyboards, the latest of which uses magnetism as an attachment mechanism.

This Magnetic Bluetooth Keyboard Case for the Samsung Galaxy S5 is a small QWERTY wireless keyboard which is designed to fit nicely on the body of a Samsung Galaxy S5 smartphone. The keyboard connects via Bluetooth 3.0, which gives it a range of 10 meters, and contains its own lithium rechargeable battery so you don’t drain the phone’s power.

The keyboard battery is rated at 280mAh which apparently is enough to keep the unit running for around 30 days, and it charges via a standard microUSB socket. It also features intelligent power management, a sophisticated sleep mode and also has a backlight for those times when you get the urge to do some midnight texting to your mates. Priced at $38 and available in either black or white for you aesthetes.
