GSM Spy Wallet – make like James Bond and transform your life

GSMSpyWallet2

Once upon a time if you wanted to play spy you needed some serious cash to lay out on all the cool technology that you see in the movies. But no more. Nowadays there are any number of really slick tools which you can use to make like an NSA agent without breaking the bank balance. Which is probably more than a little worrying.

This GSM Spy Wallet is a good example. The wallet actually comes with a receiver / transmitter unit inside into which you insert a standard GSM SIM card. This turns the wallet into a remote spy unit, which means that someone can call the unit and instantly be connected. Once you insert the tiny earpiece in your ear you will be able to hear and communicate with whoever is on the other end of a phone call, no matter where they are in the world.

Why would you want this you ask? Well apart from the obvious students cheating in exams, it can be used in business negotiations (you stay in contact with your boss at all times, so you don’t make any rash promises. If you say something dodgy, they can correct you immediately through the earpiece. Security guards, nervous people giving presentations, there’s tons of applications out there waiting to make that call.

The kit costs $90 and the battery can give 4 to 6 hours of activity per charge (depending on volume). There’s even an SOS button which can be pressed to prevent the wallet being discovered by wireless unit detectors. Sneaky sneaky.

  • Isn’t this just another “GSM Spy” gadget, but with an ugly wallet and twice the price? (eg. http://www.dx.com/s/gsm+spy)
