Commuter Suit – the perfect commuter gear for the upwardly mobile cyclist

Oh how we love it when form and function come together in perfect harmony, and so it is with this super cool bit of fashion wear called the Commuter Suit. Designed by American fashion house Parker Dusseau, this is a fully tailored man’s business suit, which is made specifically for those who prefer to cycle to work, rather than take the lazy way to the top.

At first sight the suit looks like any other business attire you’d see on a city street, but hidden beneath that slick exterior is a wealth of cool bits and pieces which make it perfect for a two wheeled commute. For one thing it’s made of a special hybrid superwool, Spandex, anti-microbial fabric which stretches, won’t retain odor and regulates body temperature as you travel. It even has armpit vents to keep you cooler when things get a little energetic out there on the roadway.

Not only that, but it also comes with some really cool touches such as reflective strips sewn into sleeves, pant legs, flap pockets and collar, all of which serve to make you more visible on the darker commute home at the end of the day. The pants themselves are a work of art, with integrated grippers to keep your shirt nicely tucked in, and a simple chain guard system which keeps the leg away from the nasty oily links. Amazing.

The suit is available in both Navy blue and Charcoal and costs $485. Lovely jubbly!
