Dropshades – the LED accessory that parties as hard as you do

dropshades3

So way back in the earlier 2000’s, Kanye West wore those window blind glasses and we all danced like mad men to “Stronger”. It’s ok, you can admit it. Anyway, those shades were the worst. Dropshades look exactly the same, but the addition of lights have made them awesome. That’s progress for you, huh?

It’s not just the lights. They’re LED lights and each row is a different color. These bad boys are audio responsive. So when you go out, your glasses pulse along with the music. All Kanye’s did was sit there and look so Kanye. Great for parties, dance concerts, outdoor festivals (at night) or basically anywhere there is music and darkness. You have to have both of these things for maximum coolness.

The glasses come in four different colors. Ivory, Onyx, Indiglow (not a typo), and Pink. They run via a rechargeable battery that connects through micro USB and the charge lasts for up to 14 hours. Basically, charge these once and they’re good for the whole night and then some. But remember, when the sun rises, they go right back to looking a little silly. Dropshades are $39.95.
