ExpensoGram – dirt simple expenses manager with no frills, just speed [Freeware]

There are a ton of expenses apps out on the market, free and commercial, but almost all of them offer a bunch of features which most people don’t need or use. This new ExpensoGram app is the first expenses program we’ve seen which actually does just the one key job, store your expenditure quickly and easily.

The key to the speed of entry is the fact that you have three methods of storing your expenses as they occur. You can either type them in via a standard text entry box, or add them instantly by making a voice recording, which is perfect if you’re in the middle of rushing around and don’t have time to type.

You can also use the camera to shoot a photo of the receipt, which is another super fast way to add in an expense on the spot. The one drawback to the latter two methods is the fact that the data is not transferred into a document readable format, so eventually if you want to have meaningful reports you’ll have to go back in and add the numbers and description.

But that said, the data entry part is also extremely simple, some would say almost too basic, in that it’s just number and words. There’s no currency involved, and no frills. We’re thinking it’ll be hard to find a faster system for adding in expense amounts anywhere. The app is free and ad supported and available on the Android app store.
