The thing we thought was interesting about the Cheerson CX-30W product is the fact that you can fly it using your smartphone or the included controller. Win-win.

The quadcopter is not as big as it looks in the photos, it’s actually only around seven inches across, but it comes with a 3 megapixel camera, WiFi control, a 6 axis gyroscope for easier flying and a free app which you can load onto your phone to use as a controller.

You can control the device up to 30 meters, and your photos and/or videos are directly stored in the phone, so no need to download them at the end of the flight. You get around 5 minutes flight time from a 90 minute charge of the 700mAh battery and it comes with built in prop guards to protect against any bumps and scrapes. Priced at $86.
