One of the best things to do before bed is read. It’s so relaxing. Or exciting depending on the book. Mostly though, it’s quiet and you can stop whenever you get tired and pick it up again the next day. The Lightwedge Paperback LED Booklight lets you enjoy your nighttime habit without waking your bedmates.
The Lightwedge is a pane of light that you place directly on the book page. The low light illuminates the page you’re reading and that’s it. You don’t have to worry about waking up anyone else in the room. There are two levels of brightness on this so it can be adjusted to the reader’s needs. The device works on four AAA batteries and can glow for up to 40 hours.
It’s a neat device and certainly helpful but it seems like it would be a bit awkward to have to move the light every time you turn the page. Still, it looks like it might work fairly well for an older Kindle that does not have a backlight. The Lightwedge Paperback LED Booklight is $35.23.
