Bike Snowboard – cold and crazy combine in one strange contraption

bikesnowboard

There are many ways to offer yourself up to dangerous possibilities. You can free solo up sheer rock, free dive to ridiculous depths, or you can strap a snowboard attachment to the front of your mountain bike and travel downhill at an unfeasibly rapid pace. All of these will deliver adrenaline in copious amounts we suspect.

The Bike Snowboard is just such an implement of modern distraction. The board clamps to just about any tire, and provides a sharp metal plane which will cut through snow and also flatten the track for the rear wheel to improve the speed and adrenaline provision.

The fact that you can also cycle to increase your speed should surprise no-one, nor should it be forgotten that you can add a second board to the rear tire as well. Which will give you the kind of total uncontrollable glideability that you’d get with a greased tray on a toboggan run. Whee! The board comes in three sizes and is sale priced at $299.95.
