Agreed. But even the analogue display is an uplift on earlier models. I tested out a bunch a while back which only had bleep and blinking light indicators. Also discovered that most of the EMF from a laptop comes out sideways from the edge of the screen. Probably the backlight, I suppose.
The analog display works well enough, you can switch between two scales for high/low intensity in it. The EMF probe works well too, and is pretty consistant, but I never got the cell sensor to do anything. It still beeps and flashes when you get close to maxing out the current range.
