CrowdMed – the internet doctor that actually works

CrowdMed

We’ve all turned to Google at least once to diagnose some health problem (spoiler alert, you’re probably dying) only to end up scaring ourselves before seeing a professional who lets us know it’s nothing to worry about. Not all internet diagnoses are created equal though. CrowdMed is crowdsouce medical site that solves tough cases.

Think of it as the Doctor House of the internet. Instead of just punching your symptoms into a search engine, your case will be looked at by medical professionals with a wide range of backgrounds from retired physicians to naturopaths who will try to help you figure out what is going on.

This site is geared for helping people who can’t seem to get to the bottom of their medical issues. Although it can handle every day issues, the Medical Detectives really shine on rare cases. The site has proved 80% accurate in helping people to find out what is wrong with them. Unlike Google however, CrowdMed is not free and has packages that start at $99 a month but if they turn out to be wrong in your case, you get your money back.
