Tesla Watch – steampunk watch fights for attention on your wrist

Let’s just say that you’re feeling a little under the geek at the moment. You know, those times when you feel you’re not really being appreciated for who you truly are? There are all sorts of solutions for the syndrome. You can pull on an active equalizer glowing LED T-Shirt, you can buy a new set of pen protectors or you can go the whole hog and plump down your cash for one of these puppies.

The Tesla Watch will almost definitely not tell the time any better than a $5 Swatch watch, but then again who said wristwatches were still about time any more? Nope, this is a statement, loud and bold, look at me – or my wrist – for I am mighty.

The thing comes with two fake vacuum tubes which light up reassuringly using LED tech, and it also sports some cool accessories like a separate minute hand dial, a wind up thingy and an on/off switch for the lights. If nothing else you can have hours of fun winding and switching things on and off, while pretending that you’re flying a Victorian airship. Or something. The whole thing comes out at $59.99, and is sure to help you make new friends. Honestly.
