Rain Lamp – turn your floor into a reflective pool, sort of

Rain Lamp Close up

Water is very relaxing. Not only taking a bath or shower, but just having water around can have therapeutic effects. There are a ton of decorative fountains that you can purchase but the Rain Lamp is a little different. It combines light and water to create a soothing reflection in your home.

The Rain Lamp is made from a large globe that holds water, an LED light, and pump system. The pump system pushes water very deliberately so that only a few drops fall onto the collected water in the globe. When the drops hit the water, it creates a reflection on the floor of ripples. As if you were looking at the surface of a pool.

Rain Lamp

It’s a pretty neat effect but one that probably works best on smooth floors. Although the lamp itself is very bright, it doesn’t appear to be much of an actual light source, instead, it’s more like a single use projector. A very neat idea and certainly very attractive but it doesn’t come cheap. The Rain Lamp is $940.

    • Er…I’m not sure what you are asking. If you have no interest, ,then may I suggest you unsubscribe? Maybe you are also subscribed to our RSS feed, so check that too? We actually have no power to force anyone to engage with us at all. It’s all your choice. Cheers.
