Mandylion2

The Mandylion Password Manager. $269.00. Forgetful are we?

Built as a small keyring device, it can securely manage up to 50 logins, safe combinations, security codes, etc. that can be individually generated to meet the composition requirements of any login policy. Passwords can be any length up to 14 characters or namespaces. It can create passwords based on your settings for various criteria (such as length, alpha-numeric, special characters, etc.) and prompt you to change your passwords at preset time intervals (90 days, 1 year, etc.) Also, all data is stored in permanent memory, so it is unaffected by battery life or loss of power.

  • Better start practicing on your old Simon. Looks like the only way to retrieve the passwords is to repeat back a 20-key sequence. If you get to 40, it had better spit out a free coupon for a burrito or something. $269? I’ll stick with a stealth Hipster PDA, thanks.

  • I have a free program that does this for me. I store said program on a USB memory key. Total cost= 20 (less than $40 US)

  • Hmm..Fish, some people’s cumbersome is another person’s paranoia. Heh!
