Have you every had an urge to climb a tree, but shied off because of the risks? Yeah, we feel you. But trees are awesome and there’s definitely something exciting and exotic about rustling around at the top of one in amongst all the leaves and branches. If only there was a way to get this kind of experience without the hassle. Well now there is.

Two lads at the RCA college in London, have come up with a product they’re calling the CanopyStair. This ingenious device straps gently to the trunk of a tree, and provides a spiral set of stairs which anyone can use to climb their favorite tree.

The clever bit is the fact that no nails or fixings are used, so the tree is not harmed, and it can be dismantled in around half an hour or so, which makes it ideal for tree parties. Is that a thing yet? The duo have yet to come up with a firm price on the product, but no doubt we’ll start seeing them dotted around the landscape some day soon.
