Slide Light – trick people into looking at your vacation photos

Slide Light in use

It’s not the 1960s anymore so most of us don’t have slides hanging out in our house but in case you have a bunch of camera slides (for some reason) that you don’t know what to do with why not turn them into a cool light with the Slide Light.

This is a long accent light that doubles as an art piece. You can hang it horizontally or vertically but its slim size makes it unsuitable for main lighting. This is more for accent or low lighting needs. It’s a very subtle but depending on the slides you use, it can be very pretty and made to match your décor.

If you don’t have slides (because again, this is 2015) then you can have some made as this lamp fits standard slides. You can get the job done pretty much anywhere you get photos developed and even some places online if you want to convert your digital files. This is just another way to mount and share your photography. Because it’s so small, people may actually spend time looking, if only to figure out what it is. The Slide Light starts at $200.
