Air Hockey is one of the most fun games that you can play on a table. The problem with it though is that outside of an arcade, your chances to take on all challengers are few and far between. The set comes with two nets, two paddles and one puck. You can’t play doubles (unless you have an extra set of paddles somewhere). The puck takes two triple A batteries so that it can hover over your chosen surface. Once you’re all set up, it’s game on.
The downside to this set is that chances are, you don’t have a table with protective sides so you have to be careful otherwise you puck is going to go flying. Slice foam pool noodles length-wise to the center/core, then “clip” it around each edge of your table. Similar to how some folks use them as makeshift baby safety bumpers. Should keep your hockey puck from flying off too easily.
