iPet Companion – give a shelter cat some attention

ipetcompanion program

Mondays are hard and the holiday season has arrived which stresses everyone out. Even if you don’t partake yourself, traffic and parties can be just overwhelming. Why not take a few moments to play with some cats? iPet Companion is a website that lets you play with shelter cats for a few minutes without leaving your desk.

This little website will let you control a toy remotely so some kitties can get some interaction while they’re waiting for their fur-ever homes. It’s really important that shelter cats get a chance to play as it keeps them healthy both physically and emotionally. Unfortunately, there’s not enough staff to play with them as much as they need so you can step in and help when you have free time.

The website is popular so you may have to wait in a line but there are multiple shelters using the technology so if the line is too long or one site is down, just visit another shelter and give it a go. If you think that tech would be a good fit for a local shelter, the may qualify to be part the program for free. Take a break from life and play with some cats. It will help you and them, all for free.

Donyae’s love for technology is based on a need to survive our future robotic overlords. Know thy enemy as you know yourself. But since even odds are on the zombie future, she has also learned how to prepare squirrel. You can find her on Facebook until the robots – or zombies – rise up.
