Kardia – get the low down on your heart using just your fingertips

Kardia close up

Have you ever wondered how your heart is doing? Sure you can feel it in there pumping and if it goes really off the rails, you’ll probably notice but you don’t really know what’s going on there unless you get a medical exam. With the Kardia you can use your mobile phone as an EKG machine.

This device is smaller than a credit card and works with your phone. All you need to do is place your fingers on the sensors for a quick 30 seconds. The device records a medical grade EKG which you can view on your smartphone or tablet.

This is great if you want to keep track of your heart, especially if you’re under medical care for any conditions. You can share this information with your doctor easily and have more to work with than just “I don’t know man, it just doesn’t FEEL right, you know?” It works with both Apple and Android devices. The Kardia is $99.
