This is an interesting website that lets you manipulate colored blocks to make your own unique music and sound. Each block does something different and they all need to build upon one another to build music. Given that, there is also a visual aspect to it as you begin to build.

Some blocks fit together better than others letting you design not just the sound, but the look of your piece as well. Mixing the visual with sound allows you to plan your piece more intuitively. This website is free and open source. Moving the blocks around is also really relaxing. The website works best in Chrome. It is free to use.
