CuratedAI – shall I compare thee to a neural net?

curatedai

We’ve talked some about how robots are coming for all of our jobs. You may think that some professions are secure, especially those based in more creative pursuits. You would be wrong though. CuratedAI is the online literary magazine written by machines for people.

In case that last line wasn’t clear enough, this is poetry and stories written by software for human consumption. If you are a programmer who has created something that waxes poetic, submit your bot’s work to this journal, they want it. The work will be edited for things like grammar but all of the words must be your bots. Don’t try to pawn off your own terrible poetry as the work of technology.

The work is a bit strange, most of these bots are still learning so their prose is a bit choppy. They’re better at the more forgiving medium of poetry but it’s all worth reading. Most of the bots are trained notable writers so it may all seem oddly familiar. There’s even a budding romance writer. This is a fun little site and you can watch the evolution of art being taken over by robots in real time.
