Bookniture – hide this chair on your bookshelves

bookniture-in-use

The amount of furniture we need in our home is variable. Sometimes you need some extra spots to place drinks or more chairs. Storing all that can be a nightmare if you have a small space. If you find extra chairs a struggle, check out Bookniture, the books that fold out like stools.

This is a super lightweight piece of furniture that starts life flat, like a book and can be stored upright but folds out and becomes a stool or end table if you need one. You can use it as a footrest, seating, or a place to stick your drinks.

It only comes in tan, which may not fit into your décor but that’s not such a big deal with when it can be folded up and literally stuffed on a shelf. It comes with a seat pad so that you can use it as a flat surface. It doesn’t look like much but it holds up to a half ton worth of weight. The Bookniture is $86.
