PubSpace – check out NASA’s research online for free

blue-690872_1920

Do you like space? I mean, do you REALLY like space? If you go absolutely gaga over the final frontier then have we got some good news for you, NASA is giving the public free access to its research database with PubSpace.

Now, not everything is going to end up in this depository of space base research. Things that fall under personal privacy regulations, propriety restrictions or national security won’t be posted for people to read. However, anything else that has been NASA funded is required to be put up online for download.

Obviously, this is going to be some science heavy stuff but if you’re into that type of thing, this could be the web resource of your dreams. The available papers are full-text documents. They do still fall under copyright law so although you can read them and use them for educational purposes, you can’t photoshop the authors’ names out and claim the work as your own. Pretty sure that wouldn’t work too well anyway. PubSpace is free online.
