The smart house is the way of the future. We’ve got smart bulbs, smart thermostats, smart coffeemakers and the list goes on and on. You can add smart mirrors to it now as well. The Juno is the smart mirror you didn’t know you needed.
You’re probably wondering how one makes a mirror “smart”. The answer is that the mirror itself isn’t actually any different from a standard mirror, it won’t project makeup styles or different hair on your reflection (I’m pretty let down by this too). The smart part is the ring lighting that you can control with your smartphone.
You can alter the lighting to mimic different conditions for perfect makeup as well as use the lighting to illuminate flawless selfies. When you’re not making sure you face is on point, you can flip this mirror on the stand and it turns into a reading lamp with variable lighting as well. Although not exactly what I would want to see out of “smart mirror” this gadget is still pretty handy. The Juno has not launched yet but is taking reservations. It will be under $50.
