Journal 29 – solve the mystery with this web supported mystery game

Riddles and mysteries are always fun. If you’re a fan of figuring the story out, check out Journal 29, the book based mystery game that hides the keys on the internet so you definitely cannot cheat.

This is a cool little concept. The black journal is part of a story and to find out what happens at the end, you must solve the mystery of the journal. Each riddle spans two pages and you’ll have to figure out the answer before you can go on to the next as you need the “keys” to solve them all.

To keep you from cheating, the keys must be accessed by providing the answer to the pages’ riddle, online. This means that if you really want to know the answer, you really have to play the game, you can’t just flip to the back. There are over 50 riddles to solve and the book will call for you to really think outside of the box. This is being Kickstarted right now and you can get one for $17.

Donyae’s love for technology is based on a need to survive our future robotic overlords. Know thy enemy as you know yourself. But since even odds are on the zombie future, she has also learned how to prepare squirrel. You can find her on Facebook until the robots – or zombies – rise up.
