Drop Stop – keep things being lost to the void between your seat and center console

drop-stop-in-use

I’ve dropped stuff between my seat and the center console a lot. More often since cell phones become smart and have that perfect body for just sliding into that crevice. The same black hole has eaten pens, change and any number of random items. The Drop Stop is the gap blocker of your dreams.

This little piece slides into your car, between your seat and the center console divider to stop things from falling into that pit. No more lost change or spilled candy. Instead put things down with ease without the worry of losing them forever.

drop-stop-alone

It covers the area all around the seat belt so that there is no danger of anything being lost around the belt itself. This is pretty handy for people who do a lot in their cars because the gap is pretty annoying to have to dig things out of. Drop Stop is $19.99 for a two pack.

  • I couldn’t find a link and am too busy to search, but this item needs to be attached in some way to the seat, so that it stays in place when the seat is moved backward and forward and up and down. And, incidentally, to keep it from being one more thing you have to retrieve.

    • It slides over the seat belt which I imagine helps hold it in place.

Although the irony of having to retrieve this from the space makes me giggle.
