I couldn’t find a link and am too busy to search, but this item needs to be attached in some way to the seat, so that it stays in place when the seat is moved backward and forward and up and down. And, incidentally, to keep it from being one more thing you have to retrieve.
It slides over the seat belt which I imagine helps hold it in place.
Although the irony of having to retrieve this from the space makes me giggle.
