Finger PIN.

BiometricPIN

The BiometricPIN. Super cool biometric security. Don’t just use your fingerprints – since they can be spoofed – but also incorporate a finger PIN, which you use by tapping with your fingers in a certain order. Five years in development and pure genius.

Instead of using a single, easily lifted or stolen fingerprint, BiometricPIN will allow any number of fingers to be used in any sequence determined by the user. No one has been able to achieve this so far and the implications will be global as spin-off projects emerge. The sequence creates a digital pattern that can only be recreated by the user. When it is stored on a Government or central database it simply becomes an unidentifiable “blob” that cannot be stolen.

Ouch. :-) Well it’s obvious then that you can, and should, only use this new technology in the pitch dark. If it’s raining. In December. In Finland.
