Prisma – turn your poorly lit selfie into a work of art with this app

You probably took a thousand pictures last weekend and will likely take a thousand more this weekend. Why not do a little something different with them? Download the Prisma app and turn them into almost recognizable works of art.

This app uses neural networks and artificial intelligence to give your photos an artistic makeover. Channeling the styles of some of the most well-known artists in the world, it will redo your photos in their styles giving you something that’s worth hanging on the wall because let’s be honest, most of the pictures you’ve captured during the holiday season are really only good for the memories, not display.

This app will “repaint” your photo like a Van Gogh or Picasso, for instance, imitating their classic styles in shape and color choices. From there you can share your photo with friends and family, use them as cool wallpaper or print them out and hang them which is what we used to do with photos, back in the stone age. Prisma is a free app for both Android and Apple devices.
