The next big holiday coming around is Valentine’s Day! A day for letting people know you really care about them. Significant others, children, friends, family, tell everyone you care! Or better yet, show it with a DIY light project. The Flashing LED Sweetheart is the cute little light project you can make for someone you care about.

This is a little electronics kit that you build yourself. It comes with all the parts you need to make an adorable little flickering heart. Well, lights and board. You’ll have to supply your own battery and soldering iron. This is a beginning project for people who are new to making or just want to get some practice in with the tools.

The project comes with 28 red LED lights (you can probably get different colors from somewhere else for some variety). This is a fairly cheap project so don’t expect much.
