Saltwater Powered LED Lantern – skip the batteries and turn on the tap

In an emergency situation, finding stable light can really put your mind at ease. Battery powered options call for batteries which aren’t always available and do run out. Solar powered is great, provided you were able to charge it up when the sun was up. The Saltwater Powered LED Lantern only needs water and salt to work.

The water doesn’t have to be drinkable. Just pour it in with some salt and it will provide illumination for up to 80 hours. This is great because it doesn’t take away from any needed supplies and can be set up quickly to give you light as soon as you need it, saving your batteries for something else.

You don’t have to have an emergency to use this, you can use it for camping or just hanging out outside on your lawn. Just dump the water when you’re done and put it away for next time! The Saltwater Powered LED Lantern is $58.
