Pet First Aid – take care of minor issues without a trip to the vet

Do you know what to do to save your pet? What if they step on a piece of glass? Or eat a grape? How do you handle these things? Don’t worry, Red Cross has your back with information with their Pet First Aid app.

This app includes information for both dogs and cats which can be easily switched between. There are first aid steps for 25 common pet health issues as well as information on some of the common things in our homes that may be toxic to our furry friends.

If your health needs are above and beyond what you can handle at home, it also helps you locate your nearest emergency vet. For non-emergency situations you can use this app to track your vet visits for different pets in your household. Use this app to learn first aid for you pets so you know what do even when your phone isn’t at hand. Pet First Aid is available on both Android and Apple devices.
