Albert Clock – make telling time a math adventure

Reading the time off a digital clock is probably one of the simplest things to do. Provided you know how to tell time, this isn’t a difficult task. So someone decided to add math to it because every facet of our lives has to be overly complex. The Albert Clock gives you the time in equations.

Instead of just giving you an easy read out for the hour and minute, this clock presents you with a math problem that you have to solve. Think fast because you only have, at most, sixty seconds before it changes.

The idea is to present a clock that gives your brain a bit of a work out. Instead of just marking the time, you have to actually figure it out. And if simple math is too easy for you, don’t worry, the clock has four levels of mathematical problems that get increasingly harder as you go on. Because why should anything in life be simple when it can be math hard? It runs on AC power and can be wall mounted. The Albert Clock is €279.
