Adopt The Planet – this Earth Day, claim your land (sort of)

The world is a huge place and chances are, you don’t have time to see every, single inch of it. Not to worry though, NASA has you covered and bonus, you can even adopt your own plot a land (or water) with Adopt The Planet.

This is NASA’s little way of celebrating Earth Day this year and you can participate, if you’re quick because there’s only so much planet to adopt! It’s very simple, just type your name and it spits out your own little location. Your personal card gives you information about your part of the world. Including ozone and humidity. I got a part of the ocean so it was pretty humid.

Once you’ve gotten your personal piece of the world, you can share it over social media or explore it further. Or just explore the whole map. The world is your digital oyster. This is probably more fun for young ones but I’m still pretty stocked that a tiny part of the ocean has been adopted by me. Check out the website for more information.
