iTalki – get one on one language learning support

We live in a connected world so it makes sense to spend some time learning another language, even if you’re not planning to go anywhere. If you’re looking for some more face to face instruction, check out iTalki, the site that lets you hire language teachers.

There are many free options for learning a language such as Duolingo. Nothing is wrong with those but some people are looking for more direct lessons that help with things like accents and inflection. That’s where this site comes in handy, it matches up teachers with students for one on one lessons.

There are a variety of languages available and you get to decide how much or little you use the site. After creating your profile, you are matched with teachers who will potentially fit your education needs. From there you can open a dialogue with them and schedule times. You do need some sort of video chat functionality for this site but if you’re looking to expand your language learning, this can be an excellent way. Check out the site for more information.
