The Beyond Smart Coffee Maker. $128.99. Why’s it smart? Because it can automagically make ‘freshly ground and brewed coffee’ at different times of the day throughout the week. That’s why. Oh and it can be connected to a web browser so you can remotely change the schedule on demand when life gets a little rough. So show some respect people, OK? Sheesh!

The Beyond Coffee Maker is flexible ad easy to use. Add the Home Hub and you’ll know before leaving bed if your coffee is ready. You can even change the brewing schedule from any web browser. Waking up has never been so much fun!

 Smart coffee.

This product isn’t available! When you click on BUY IT, then ADD TO CART, it comes up “not found” despite the fact that the site says “shipping in 24 hours.” When I called the toll-free number, they were also unable to order it for me, saying it wasn’t available and they had no idea when it would arrive.

I have a smart coffee maker. It has an on-button. However, the wall-plug is connected via an X-10 module to my computer through which I can program any number of odd schedules for brewing coffee, or remotely turn it on via a web-browser, cellphone, email, or RF-remote. Costs less overall than the $128.

Hrm – but grinding – need to work on that one.

Andrew, that’s neat indeed. Very fine tech is X-10. :-)
