Qwerkywriter – the vintage keyboard for your tablet needs

If you’ve been following along, then you’ve probably noticed I’ve got a thing for vintage looking keyboards. Something about the click-clack sounds and the round keys just makes it seem like you’re really doing something. The Qwerkywriter is the vintage keyboard for modern times that started it all.

This keyboard is built to work with mobile devices and connects with them via Bluetooth for a magically wireless experience. Sure, you could just pull out an old school portable typewriter but that would be a messy experience involving finding where one could order ink tape for it. Just skip that and get this one.

The keys are industrial strength mechanical switches for that click-clack sound. The return bar actually acts as a return bar, which is cool, but if that isn’t what you need in life, you can program it for up to five characters quite easily. It has a built-in stand for tablets and iPads. All in all, this is a solid keyboard option for those who like to type like the early 20th century. Qwerkywriter is currently $250.
