BondicEVO – don’t make sculptures with this, repair instead

3D doodle pens let you create plastic sculptures but what if you don’t want to create? What if you need to fix something where only plastic will do the job right? Check out BondicEVO, the 3D printing gun. The “freestyle 3D printer that fits in your pocket”.

This isn’t really like a 3D printer, it’s a hot glue gun that uses plastic and UV light to permanently bond things together. This isn’t new technology, dentists have been using a similar technique for years, and there’s an older version of this product on the market but there’s some legal issues with it.

BondicEVO is indoors and shaded use only. The UV light it uses must reach the liquid plastic to cure it, which it does in about four seconds. It works on a number of things such as wires and leaky pipes making it an all-around go to gadget to have in your tool box. You can get your own for $14, they’re expected to ship in August.
