Back in the 90s, the world was a different place. We thought virtual pets were going to be future. Why? I don’t know, it was a weird time. One of the most famous virtual pets was the Tamagotchi. If you never got over the loss of yours, good news, they’re coming back.
The company has announced that it’s bringing back the retro toy so that you can keep a pet in your pocket. For those who aren’t familiar with the craze, these were little keychains that held a digital pet. You were responsible for feeding, washing, and loving it and if you failed to do those things, it died.
In case you wanted some more anxiety in your life, you can get this little toy in a variety of colors. Carry it in your pocket or your bag, attempt to keep it alive. Be careful out there, the toy doesn’t come out until November but crafty sellers are already setting up preorders for well above the retail price of $14.99.
