The holidays are over and it’s a new year. We’ve all gotten settled and ready to work on our goals for the up coming year. One common goal that people have is to learn how to really use a camera. DSLRs are now common pieces of equipment, with many lower cost options available for hobbyists. If you want to get a handle on the basics of photography, this article from Lifehacker has a great list of cheat sheets that helps with the basics.

Aperture, exposure, ISO, are so confusing at first. Not to mention all the different settings that these cameras have that point and shoots and cellphone cameras do not. This can be really intimidating for new photographers.
