I constantly forget to take the meat out to defrost for dinner. No one remembers until an hour before we’re supposed to be eating which is why there’s so many takeout boxes in my trash. This Fast Defrosting Tray would probably save me a lot of money.

This is simple, this is a tray that you put your frozen meats and other foods on to defrost. The design pulls the chill and cold away from the food so that they defrost faster. The water that comes off collects underneath it, away from the food, so that it can be disposed of easily.

The board can be used for meats, fruits, and veggies, just not all at once. Once it’s defrosted, you can also cut your food and produce right there before transferring it to the pan or bowl. This isn’t a very complex kitchen tool but it could save forgetful cooks a call to the local takeout place. Currently raising money on Kickstarter, it has been funded and you can preorder one for $34.
