HeatTrak – keep your steps clear in the heaviest of snows

If you live somewhere that it snows, then you know that snow and ice accumulation on the steps can be a big problem in the colder months. Make sure that your steps stay clear and safe with the HeatTrak, the heating mat for your steps.

These mats are made to melt snow from your steps, keeping them clear. They melt about two inches of snow per hour and are meant to stay outside for the entire winter. Just put them out as soon as the weather starts to take a frosty turn and pick them up when spring returns.

They come in single packs and can be hooked together for multiple steps. They work with a 120 volt power unit which unfortunately you must buy separately. This is a neat little gadget for people who live in cold weather and would like to keep their steps visible and easy to travel, even if the walkway will still need to be shoveled. You can get one mat for $59.95.
