Skillshare – more than just arts and crafts

You’ve probably heard of Skillshare. It’s been around since forever and people generally use it to learn how to do crafty things like draw and sew. There are a ton of great classes on those sorts of crafty skills but did you know there were also a bunch of business development and computer courses?

Turns out Skillshare is a great site for learning a variety of skills. There are writing classes, coding/programming classes, and even some language learning classes. Sure the site’s big money earners are the craft stuff but you can actually pick up a lot of work and life development skills on this site too.

The classes are in video format and range from ten minutes to an hour or so. Each class comes with one or more enrichment activities to help you learn the concepts they are teaching. There’s a discussion space in each class where students can ask questions and the teacher or other students can respond. As far as cost, it’s $10 a month, cancel anytime. Check it out, learn something new.
