Twinkling Milky Way Skirt – be your own night sky

Love space so much you wish you were space? Then the Twinkling Milky Way Skirt is the clothing item you need in your life. It’s not going to turn you into an endless expanse of faraway planets with long stretches of cold nothingness but it’s close.

The skirt is 60 LED wire lights that shine through the fabric. The stars and colors are based on images that were sent back from the Hubble and Spitzer Space Telescopes as well as the Chandra X-ray Observatory. There are six different modes on the lights so you can set them to twinkle as you like or not at all if you’re trying to be more low key.

The skirt is three layers of fabric and there are pockets. The stars take a bit of work to put in but are removable for washing. The stars run on two CR2025 batteries. Ready to shine like the night sky? You can get this skirt for $59.99.
